About Tengakhat College

Tengakhat College is situated in Tengakhat about 30 K.M. east of Dibrugarh Town and 17 K.M. West of Duliajan Oil Town. The college was established in 1967 at the initiative of a few eminent educationists and social workers of Tengakhat. The college was brought under the Deficit Grant-in-Aid system in 1986 and received UGC affiliation under 2 (f) and 12 (B) in 2007. The college was established with the objectives of imparting higher education of the students of the locality and surrounding villages and tea gardens. The college was accredited "Grade B" by NAAC in December, 2005 in 1st cycle. The college was accredited Grade B++ (CGPA 2.87) by NAAC in November, 2016 in the 2nd cycle.
